My nephew is 10 and he plays Modern Warfare, Left 4 Dead, pretty much anything (though not GTA4). When I question his mum (my wife's brother's ex-wife...) she said "all his friends play them so if their mum's are ok with it... so am I...". I think this is wrong, but if he can just go around to his friends house to play them, should his mum be the only one stopping him owning them?

I'm interested in you thoughts about this.

IMO - If she didn't let him play them, and asked the other mums not to allow him to play them then I think they might all back off and stop buying them.... I make the effort not to discuss them with him and focus on games that are suitable like Forza and Fifa.
