I'm going for Viking this month. Nearly picked it up the other day, saw the limited edition used for a fiver!

Viking is a good game, i really enjoyed the presentation & epic battles, but didn't give the game enough time before trading it in.

Frontlines, UT3 & The Club i am yet to play, but am pretty sure all are available for around a fiver pre-owned. I think Frontlines has the potential for good gamernights.

Dynasty Warriors, i have no idea other than John loves them.

Plopping for Viking this month , i'd love to do UT3 but feeling a bit shootered out at the moment with my recent surge in MW2 play.

Definitely happy with the choice as it's one I've never played but always meant to go back to.

Installed it & took a look through the achivies, there are some old school 14, 16 & 18 point achivies in there. Which could potentialy blight your gamerscore! if you are particular about it ending in a 5 or a 0, lol.

Had a play for an hour this morning. An intresting combination of game styles even in the early part of the game.

But just reading through the achievement list and arghhhh oddly numbered cheevos need to make sure I avoid these for the sake of my OCD. :)

Got it for £4.50 from eBay, and have played two or three hours. I'm about to start the final assault on the stronghold on the first island; I have all the needed support, just need to call a dragon.

I'm enjoying it so far. The combat is a little flat, but I haven't been using the elemental runes to be fair. Haven't needed them yet.

After making it to the end of the 2nd Island I think i'm calling this a day for the moment. An intresting diversion but slightly confused as to what it's trying to be and overall lacks any real depth to the combat which in the end leads to it becoming quite repetative.

Any plans on the recording dates for the show Xan?

I am not going to be able to manage it this weekend due to bambina duties, but I reckon Tuesday night might be a possibility. Last time we recorded on a Tuesday and it went well. 9pm Tues 29th?

Thanks to RDR taking a lot longer than expected I've not managed to get enough of Viking played to take part this time. And I... erm... still need to send my Macbook in for repair...

Count me in for the podcast, just getting to the end of the second island so should hopefully finish it by Tuesday.

Great. With the World Cup and my summer holiday I have not played much either. I hope to at least play few hours this weekend.

Thx Leg and 'Fin.
