Pick it up yesterday and having some fun with it. Its a fun, cut down dungeon crawler from the mind of Ron Gilbert. Nice visuals and some good humour, spend 5mins talking to a cow about the universe :P

Anyone else pick this up? Shame there is no online coop

I'm about level 12 so far and I'm loving it. It's obviously not for everyone but the combination of quirky art style, the humour, the essential regional British accents, the simple but fun gameplay and oodles to see and do has won me over.

So while it's obviously a different type of game from Monkey Island would you recommend it to fans of that just for the humour and characters? I'm currently downloading the demo of it that's on the US PSN Store so I guess I'll find out myself soon enough but I was worried that it would be a bit too stripped down, almost too basic.

So worth a tenner yeah?

what ive played so far has been fun, lots of silly voice acting and randomly named wepons. If your after deep controls and story then look away, its pretty much a button masher with each face button being a different wep. If you like the demo then you will like the game

It's a completely different type of game but, yeah, I'd recommend it to Ron Gilbert fans for sure. Not really much in the way of puzzling but some great characters and dialogue.

That there is not. It'll probably crop up in a few weeks time.

I don't understand it realy, I don't see what they have to gain by keeping things either US or Eu exclusive as if anything it is just gonna decrease the EU sales

Is the same problem pretty much each week. SCEE and SCEA just dont seem to talk to each other. I'm just happy we can have multiple accounts to bypass the rubbish system

Been playing this absolutely loads... many hours played... 88 missions done... over 2500 enemies defeated... level 18 reached... They could've stuck this on a disk - I've certainly played shorter (and less polished) retail games.

I'm really enjoying it and it'll probably make my top 5 games of the year. Well, it's got more chance of doing that than Fable III, anyway. :)

I had a blast of the demo on XBLA of this and really enjoyed it. I might have to go out and get some points to download it now.

Bought this on instinct and have really enjoyed playing it through.
Got a good 10 hours out of it and loved the humour throughout. I can understand that fans of loot hoarding diablo style games might feel it's a bit lacking, but as a fan of the old Lucasarts adventure games there was still a lot of fun to get out of it.

RPG-lite that sends up a lot of traditional RPGs, like Fable, yeah. Not much in the way of character stat customisation.

Thanks,

This sounds like it could actually be more suitable for me to cut my RPG teeth on then, rather than going straight into FALLOUT 3 or OBLIVION.

Might have to pick this up in the next month or two.

With so many of the gags being based around RPG conventions it'll be interesting to hear if you find it amusing.

I really enjoyed it. One of the best marketplace/PSN titles I have played in a long time.
